Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers spacious rooms, some with amusing boat beds, adjacent to the entrance with a view of parked cars. Despite minimizing decorative soft furnishings for safety, the room maintained a light and airy feel. The service was excellent, with all staff being friendly, efficient, and dedicated to providing top-notch customer care. The location, set in Dunkeld, is picturesque and not remote, perfect for exploring the stunning surroundings like the Cairngorms and the beautiful River Tay. Dining options were average with room for improvement. Overall, a lovely place to stay with great service and a beautiful location.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was excellent, offering a real feeling of space and seclusion, right beside the gracefully dark River Tay. However, the dining could have been better despite the lovely food, and finding myself in the annex far from the main hotel was not ideal, especially for someone with disabilities.
The hotel experience was a bit of a mixed bag for me. The rooms were small, basic, and not as clean as expected. There were some delays that led to frustration among guests, especially late at night due to noise. On the positive side, the staff tried their best to accommodate us under pressure.
The hotel offers a lovely setting and some beautiful amenities but falls short in certain areas. The rooms have been refurbished but still require maintenance, with a lingering smell of dampness. The service was lacking finesse and attention to detail, impacting the overall experience. Despite some shortcomings, the location is excellent, and the dining experience, while rushed, offers a decent selection of breakfast items.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with clean and comfortable rooms but falls short in some areas like the dining options and outdated room decor. The location is fantastic for nature lovers and dog owners, yet some mealtime inconveniences were noted. Friendly service stands out despite some shortcomings.
The hotel offers gorgeous, spacious, and immaculate rooms but lacks atmosphere with no music playing. The service was brilliant with friendly and welcoming staff. The location is tucked away in extensive woodland but needs improvement. The dining experience was average with some disappointing aspects. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms didn't quite match the description; they were beautiful but facing the marquee used for events. On a high note, the staff sweetly acknowledged my husband's birthday. However, the room was overheated without proper cooling options, aside from opening a window.
