The hotel offers spacious rooms, some with amusing boat beds, adjacent to the entrance with a view of parked cars. Despite minimizing decorative soft furnishings for safety, the room maintained a light and airy feel. The service was excellent, with all staff being friendly, efficient, and dedicated to providing top-notch customer care. The location, set in Dunkeld, is picturesque and not remote, perfect for exploring the stunning surroundings like the Cairngorms and the beautiful River Tay. Dining options were average with room for improvement. Overall, a lovely place to stay with great service and a beautiful location.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was excellent, offering a real feeling of space and seclusion, right beside the gracefully dark River Tay. However, the dining could have been better despite the lovely food, and finding myself in the annex far from the main hotel was not ideal, especially for someone with disabilities.

The Atholl Suite had fantastic views from the windows, but the room was not fully ready when we arrived. We were accommodated in the annex, which was a bit inconvenient, especially for a disabled person.

The hotel experience was a bit of a mixed bag for me. The rooms were small, basic, and not as clean as expected. There were some delays that led to frustration among guests, especially late at night due to noise. On the positive side, the staff tried their best to accommodate us under pressure.

The hotel offers a lovely setting and some beautiful amenities but falls short in certain areas. The rooms have been refurbished but still require maintenance, with a lingering smell of dampness. The service was lacking finesse and attention to detail, impacting the overall experience. Despite some shortcomings, the location is excellent, and the dining experience, while rushed, offers a decent selection of breakfast items.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms didn't quite match the description; they were beautiful but facing the marquee used for events. On a high note, the staff sweetly acknowledged my husband's birthday. However, the room was overheated without proper cooling options, aside from opening a window.

Rooms

The room didn't meet the description exactly, but it was still beautiful. We had a view of the marquee, often used for weddings and functions. A lovely touch from the staff for my husband's birthday. However, the room was too warm with no cooling system other than opening a window.
Service

The staff was friendly, polite, and very helpful. I appreciated when one staff member went to confer with their manager. They even welcomed dogs, creating a nice atmosphere. Room service, housekeeping, and overall service were top-notch.
Location

The location was stunning, with a lovely path along the Tay River displaying beautiful autumn colors. The view outside the hotel was marvelous, right by the River Tay with peaceful and relaxing surroundings. However, the temperature was a bit too warm in some areas.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience had its ups and downs. The food quality was good and freshly prepared, but the breakfast seemed chaotic and limited at times. Additionally, the free-for-all atmosphere wasn't enjoyable to witness.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were adequate, and I enjoyed the organic products offered. However, some improvements could be made in terms of dining organization and room temperature control.
